Question ID: 328494
On my second computer I have a Linksys Wireless Adaptor. Everything is installed
correctly and is working correctly. However when I try to get on the
Internet, this address keeps coming up:
C:\Windows\Temp\SetupTrans Ooze.htm#://www.google.com/
A Dell Senior Tech pointed me here to see cw shredder can find this
command file, and delete it...How about anybody else having this
problem. We do know that it probably came in from a Mp3 Site or a
Porn site. My Grandson uses that computor you might know....

Hi cobra10,

Did you try CW Shredder? You'll find it here:

CW Shredder:
"CoolWebShredder (CWShredder) will find and destroy all traces of
CoolWebSearch on your system. This includes redirections or hijacking
to www.coolwwwsearch.com and coolwebsearch.com, youfindall.net and
white-pages.ws. If you find that your browser is sending you to these
sites all of a sudden, this little program will take care of it."

Let us know if it helps,
Thanks,
hummer

Hi cobra10!!

Please try running HijackThis to detect and remove browser hijacks:

"HijackThis" by Merijn :
http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html

Direct download link:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe

You can find HijackThis tutorials in the following pages:
"HijackThis Quick Start":

Let me know if it works so I can post this in the answer box.
