Question ID: 328614
I need to find a way to disable daytime running lights on a 1998
Toyota Corolla LE. I've seen Toyota's technical manual on this, but
they reference many things that the average layperson would know
nothing about. I need a fairly simple way to do this, or detailed
instructions on a not-so-simple way to do it.

Thanks!

wscapenet-ga:

I do not have access at the moment to a 1998 Toyota Corolla to confirm
that this is completely applicable, so please calrify whether your
situation matches that described on the following website:

http://www.lightsout.org/disable.html#Toyota

While the information is for a 1999/2000 model year Corolla, I believe
that your 1998 should be very similar to the 1999 model year version.

If this information is appropriate, please let me know and I will
provide it as part of an Answer.

They are a safety feature which you should be glad to have.
