The composition that emerged,"The Cellist of Sarajevo: A
Lament in Rondo Form for Solo Cello, Opus 12" was soon taken
up by many cellists, including the distinguished Yo-Yo Ma, in
performances around the world.

Although the piece remains unpublished, Charlottesville
cellist Mathias Wexler "did some investigating" and received a
faxed copy of the score from the composer's manager.

Thank you for your help. I have already found this information, and
was hoping you could find even more. I have already emailed Wilde's
manager, to no avail. Could you find any other connection (perhaps a
direct email address), to David Wilde? Is there any other to find
this piece of music?
