Was the assassinated Hamas leader Sheik Yassin a Sunni or Shiite?
He was a political/spiritual leader of Hamas in Gaza.  I had assujmed
he was a Sunni but I read something this weekend that *implied* he was
a Shiite.

composed solely of Sunni Muslims) Thus he was identified with the
Sunnis rather than the Shiites.
