Wndows 2000 - When windows boots up get the error "Windows sockets initialization failed" Is there a way to initialize the sockets ? |

Us usual on Win2k, try removing the tcp/ip-components, then reinstall and se if it helps |

Try installing SP2, if it still doesn't work try to uninstall and re-install the TCP/IP stack. This error goes away with the reinstallation of SP2 and above. give it a try, thanks amit |
