I am located in Charlotte NC and have recently completed the 12 hour pre-licensing automobile dealers course and am currently conducting a search for a location to establish my dealership. I am about 15 minutes from the South Carolina Border and would like to determine if I am better off setting up in North Carolina or South Carolina. From what I can see, both states have similar requirements (96 square foot free standing office where records are stored). I am not too conscerned with the visibility of the location do to the fact I will be relying mostly on internet marketing to Promote sales. My concern lies in what state will be cheaper and easier to do business in. Please compare selling cars in the 2 states so that I can make an informed decision on which state I should establish my business in. |
