I need to manage a small library (under 300 books/videos/CDs etc.) with limited people resources. Where can I find a free MS Access template on-line that will do the trick? If no such thing exists, what is an easy alternative? |

Why MS-Access, since your database is very small, even excel with its filtering features will work very nicely. Also, you can have a look at WinISIS, a free biblio tool from Unesco. Further a web search will give you many biblio tools as freeware/shareware(low cost) |

Thanks Vickyji-ga, I doubt the inventory will get above 2000 items. I'm looking for something that will list resource materials with multiple subject areas, track sign-out / return dates, and be searchable by subject / title / author. If there is an Exel template somewhere that will do the trick, that would be fine. (Or do you mean just make columns and plug in the info?) The only shareware biblio tool I've found is "Biblio School" which seems more than what I need. WinISIS looks a bit cumbersome - I was hoping for something simpler. |
