Fifteen years ago when I was in the US Air Force and stationed at
Mather AFB, I was convicted in a court martial. Mather is now closed,
however, I need to obtain a record of my trial. I don't know where to
begin finding this info. Whom do I contact? What forms do I request?
Where do I get the forms? Where do I submit the forms? How long will
it take to get the records back?

Hello there, and thanks for your question.

I contacted the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals:

https://afcca.law.af.mil/

regarding your information needs, and was informed that:

"To obtain a copy of a court martial record, you can contact the
Military Justice Division of the Air Force Legal Services Agency
(AFLSA/JAJM) at (202) 767-1539. The POC is Ms. Amanda Alvey."

Ms. Alvey should be able to take care of your request, and assist you
in obtaining your records.

If you have any questions about the information I have provided -- or
run into any snags along the way -- please let me know before rating
this question. Just post a Request for Clarification, and I'll be
happy to assist you further.

Best of luck.

I HAD EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM, I WAS STATIONED AT GEORGE AFB IN
VICTORVILLE, CA. I SENT TO MILITARY RECORDS, ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. I
DON'T EVEN THINK YOU NEED A STREET ADDRESS, BUT A ZIP CODE WOULD BE
NICE. SO, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CALL YOUR LOCAL VA ADMINISTRATOR, LOOK
IT UP IN THE YELLOWS OR DO A SEARCH. HE'LL GIVE YOU THE ADDRESS. ALL
MILITARY RECORDS, FOR ALL BRANCHES, GO THERE. OKAY? GOOD LUCK BUD.
