Dear Fafield,

I am not sure that such information exists. I found more information
than the links provided so far by the commentators (such as full names
of participants), but results are available, in the first olympics,
just for the first ones (1-5). In fact, it seems that in many cases
the athletes' result is shown as "DNF" (did not finish) or DNS (did
not start).

If you want the maximum (but not all) of the results possible, I could
give them to you. However, if you're still looking for all the
results, from all of the athletes (including the two, who appeared in
St. Louis 1904, but are listed as "unknown" due to the general havoc
in these Games), I wish you and the Researcher who finds it success!

If you want just the finals, you can get both mens and womans times
for all Olympic games here:

Mens here:
http://trackfield.brinkster.net/events.asp?EventCode=MA1

Womens here:
http://trackfield.brinkster.net/events.asp?EventCode=WA1

Of you choose Olympic Games, and final results, and hit go, it lists
all contestants and times for all finals.

Is that sufficient? Let me know and I'll post it as an answer

Greetings Fafield:

I only located the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners but I thought you
might want the info if you hadn't already located it:

Olympic history -- Track and field men's 100 meters
http://espn.go.com/oly/summer00/almanac/trackfield/m100.html

Track and field Almanac -- Women's 100m dash
http://espn.go.com/oly/summer00/almanac/trackfield/w100.html

The historical index for all Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners of
the track and field events is located at
http://espn.go.com/oly/summer00/trackfield/s/almanac.html

Best regards,

Here is what I have found so far. Nothing new from the other comment,
but I am hot on the trails and I hope to have it soon!

This is a good website for historical data on the olympics.
