Dear Sa4shire,
My own experience as well as my Internet Research confirm what
Probonopublico has written, but also adds some information and
reservations to it:
"The best times for your auction to end are evenings, and the best
days are on the weekend. These are the times and days that most people
are on eBay."
(SOURCE: "Planning your eBay auction listing", Guide To Rare And Old
Book Values, Fadedgiant.net At Fadedgiant Books
<http://www.fadedgiant.net/html/planning_your_ebay_auction_lis.htm>).
A bit of a different advice, but again - evenings and weekends
(although also weekdays, at the beginning of the week): "Reward me the
most (we're talking high rate of bidding frenzy here) when I end my
auctions on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings, between 8:30 pm -
11:30 pm (PST). I can TELL you that, but you should not assume that
What I sell, Who specifically buys from me, and How I sell it is in
any way, shape, or form is like what you'd do. Bottom line, unless you
are my exact clone, NEVER assume MY window and BEST time to sell on
Ebay is going to get the Same Results for you!"
(SOURCE: Best Selling Time on Ebay, Ron-Will-Sell-Your-Stuff
<http://www.robwillsellyourstuff.com/bestsellingtimes.html>).
Another site is even more accurate, telling you what kind of things
sell best when:
TheBidFloor, Sellers Rules,
<http://www.thebidfloor.com/sellersrules.htm>. According to this site,
some things actually sell better during daytime, week-time.
I hope this answered your question. Please contact me if you need any
clarification on this answer before you rate it.
