In the Post Office, special chairs are used by those casing mail. The
"seat" is mounted on a large metal base. The user stands on the base
and then "leans" back onto the seat (which can be adjusted at an
angle). I want to know who the manufacturer is and where they are
located.

Could you tell me of the location of a specific post office the chairs are in?

The chair equipment is standard for most post offices. The one that
definitely has these is the Terminal Annex in Los Angeles, CA.

The chair in question is generally referred to as a "sit-stand chair."
Although the Post Office has some ancient versions of this, modern
versions are available from manufacturers of ergonomic equipment such
as HAG Capisco, Stokke Move, RH Support. This is my own comment and I
will be cancelling the question.
