I had tremendous pain after eating any foods with fat in it. I had a HIDA scan with CCK which showed that my gallbladder was putting out 4% bile instead of 60%. They diagnosed me with biliary dyskinesia. I had my gall bladder out last week and am able it eat some foods with fat; however, I had what I feel was another attack after eating a hardy/fatty breakfast last Sunday ( 6 days post op). I had the same symtoms as I did before my gallbladder was removed minus the stabbing pain (did have a upper quad abdominal pain & very nausea, loose bowel movments, no vomiting). This episode lasted about 6 hours. Does this sound like SOD or just my body getting used to the continuos bile being dumped in to my small bowel? I am very confused because the HIDA scan showed that my gall bladder was diseased. Could I have both biiary dyskinesia & SOD? IF so what should I expect my docters to recomend. I have an appointment with my surgen a week from today. Thanks for your help. |
