Hi,
Can you explain me what are they - "impact factors"?

(if you are talking about
www.in-cites.com/research/2001/february_26_2001-2.html - I checked
there already...)
Thank you for your help!

Impact factors are a way of measuring the impact a particular journal
has by looking at how often articles in particular journals are cited
and how frequently, etc.

It seems to me it would costly to do a good ranking, plus prestigeous
experts would inform you indignately that the rakings were wrong. What
I'm saying is opinion play a major role, as does the details of your
specialty. Likely nueclear physics would be superior for nuclear, and
all of them would be poor for intergalactic navigation even though
that is a physics disapilne in some respects. Neil
