Question ID: 330336
Victorian farmer, Percy Weston, patented his mineral powder
formulation(colloquially known as 'Percy's Powder')in, I believe,
1981. The powder had anecdotal benefits for cancer and arthritis. It
contained, I believe, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc and manganese,
all as sulfates.

I wish to view the contents of that patent.

Percy Weston passed on late last year. I would also like to know who
currently owns the patent, or the rights to its use?

Thank you.

PS The patent was registered in the UK as well.

I wish to change my question to request directions on how I would mix
an alkaline mineral supplement for animal-use that contains
approximately:

78 mg of magnesium (as sulfate)
131 mg potassium (as sulfate)
9 mg of iron (as sulfate)
10 mg of zinc (as sulfate)
9 mg of manganese (as sulfate)
maximum harmless amount of cobalt sulfate (or equivalent cobalt
gluconate & vitamin B12 if there are toxicity problems)
enough bicarbonate of soda to fizz

I wish to prepare a couple of kilograms of this supplement (in my
blender if possible, or ground in a mortar). What do I mix together
and how much of each, please? Please also research where I may buy
the constituent compounds in the US at reasonable cost. How should I
best store the resultant powder?

PS I forgot to say, firstly, that the above quantities and proportions
are for one daily dose for an animal the size of a large dog.

Secondly, that the patent was never published/finalised so there is
nothing available to be viewed online.
