The NFPA codes for clearances of wood burning stoves to combustible
surfaces can be found at the National Fire Protection Association
codes website:

Unfortunately, you will need to either purchase an item or subscribe
to have access. However, you should also be able to obtain this
information at any area store specializing in woodburning stoves or by
asking your local fire department.

Another site that may provide the NFPA information you are seeking,
but for free, is the National Ag Safety Database, which has a detailed
document on Wood Stove Installation and Operation, including the
information that, according to NFPA codes, "the required clearance
with no protection is 36 inches". It has diagrams, some NFPA reduction
clearances, stovepipe requirements, etc.

I hope you find this information useful. Thanks for asking!
