Hi nickvitt,
The likely value of your album depends on many factors including: the
condition of the album, whether it is mono or stereo, which version of
the cover you have, which label is affixed, and so on.
There is a very comprehensive guide to estimating the value of your album here:
"Introducing the Beatles Discography and Price Guide by
Perry Cox, Robert York, Mitch McGeary and Bruce Spizer"
http://www.eskimo.com/~bpentium/beatles/intro/intro.html
You will see that the value of a "very good plus" condition album
cover ranges from $75 to $7000, and a "very good plus" condition disc
ranges from $100 to $2000.
The above web page also includes an interesting and comprehensive album history.
There is also a guide to detecting counterfeits, as the authors claim
that this album "is probably the most counterfeited record in
history". So your first task is probably to work carefully through the
identification guide to check that your copy is a genuine Vee-Jay
product.
For a second opinion, you can also consult the following web pages,
each of which includes a price guide:
"The Beatles - Introducing The Beatles"
http://www.discographynet.com/beatles/btitb.html
Beatles Reference Library
http://www.liv.ac.uk/ipm/beatles/breflib/vjlp1062.html
(caution - this price guide is from back in 1994)

By the way, I found the counterfeits on sale from $8 to $35, so
there's no great money to be made from them.
As you read through these price guides, you will see that most of them
state that they obtained information from either the "Goldmine" book
or from one of the books by Perry Cox. If you want more information
than can be found on the internet, you may wish to purchase one of
these books. Here's a link to the "Goldmine" book:
Goldmine Record Album Price Guide: The Ultimate Guide to Valuing Your Vinyl
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/asin/087349671X/
The Perry Cox guides are currently listed by Amazon as "out of print -
limited availability", but used copies are widely available. Just be
sure you get a recent edition as there have been many editions of
these books with slight variations of name.
I trust this gives you the information that you need. Even just
following the guide at the first link referenced in this answer should
give you a good idea of the value of your album. Please request
clarification if I can be of further assistance.
Google Search Strategy:
I used Google's new numeric range search to find the web pages that
referred to this album and also included a price.
"introducing the beatles" $1..$1000
