I am looking for information and data on Mega Retailers for the
Building and construction Industry in the US, Europe and Asia.
In the US I know Lowes, Home Depot and Menards
In Europe I know fo B&Q
Asia?

I am looking for total number of stores by region, names of the
leaders (e.g. HD, Lowes in the US), and growth in number of stores by
region. Other trends/ info also appreciated.

Home Depot and Lowes are the major DIY retailers in the US together
they operate over 2,600 stores.

Home Depot operates 1,707 stores. 175 new stores opened in 2003.
