Queen for State Ceremonies, audiences and official entertaining. We
are recruiting a team of 200 staff who will work during the Summer
Opening of these State Rooms.
Wardens

Fixed-term contracts from 19th July to 26th September, 2004 inclusive
Will be responsible for enhancing the visitor experience and will work
in a variety of roles along the visitor route, such as ticket and
security checking, audioguide distribution, in the State Rooms or the
Garden.
Retail Assistants

Fixed-term contracts from 19th July to 26th September, 2004 inclusive
Will be responsible for providing an efficient and courteous service
to customers in the shops at Buckingham Palace. Duties will include
maintaining stock presentation, maximising merchandise sales and
handling cash.
Ticket Sales and Information Assistants

A variety of fixed-term and casual contracts from 22nd June until end
August or September, 2004
Will be responsible for providing information and taking bookings by
telephone, post, the internet and by counter sales for all the
Official Residences of The Queen and the London residence of HRH the
Prince of Wales. Applicants should have excellent organisational and
typing skills, be confident in their ability to actively sell tickets
and guidebooks and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
packages.
All positions require regular weekend work. Interviews will take place
in London in April or early May. Employment is subject to satisfactory
