Hello, researchers.  I have heard that Downy Wrinkle Releaser is no
longer being manufactured.  I would like confirmation and also to know

There is no indication that manufacture of Downy Wrinkle Releaser has
been discontinued. It is still listed on the Downy website as part of
their product line, with no reference that production has ceased:

Also, the Ask Downy FAQ do not mention it:

So all this leads me to the conclusion that what you heard is just a
rumor without reason.

I am in Florida and I just purchased some the other day at Target, so
its still available.

I live in the Akron, OH area and it seems no grocery stores in this
area carry the Downy Wrinkle Releaser.  I called customer service and
they said that to their knowledge K-Mart and WalMart are supposed to
be carriers in this area.  I just called our local K-Mart and they
don't carry it.  Called our Target and they say the same and called
WalMart and they don't carry it either.  So don't know what I am going
to do.

Off all places, I ended up finding this at my local Korean deli and at
a discount store.  (Also saw at Target later, after already stocking
up.)
