i am looking for a book possibly op it mentions how the body of christ represents us. "example" look at the heart which is Christ, who pumps blod through the veins of the believers, who love and honor him, We look at the head who is our Pastor, who represents Christ as his Sheperd, leading his flock as he feeds them with the truth and share the love of Christ beyond understanding. Then we have the arms, these are our elders, who stand by our sheperd and help carry the hurting and share their wisdom with those who are willing to listen |

Hi Rockmyworld. Your question seems to relate directly with the teachings of the major religious organizations in the world today. mostly all emotional and "feelgood". Like if you get down and unthinkingly repeat taught [ by the priest] prayers, all your troubles will disappear. If only these priests would read their own Bible, they might know that Jesus, God`s son, was sent to us, for us to learn from him and follow his example. John 17;3.." This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ". In his day, Jesus preached and taught what he called the " Good News of the Kingdom", a future system under God`s direction where everyone will live on this earth peaceably. This will require humbleness, and we certainly do not see that these days. Psalm 37 , written by King David, long before Jesus, is prophetic in how it points towards the new system and was not denied by Jesus. If any of the early Jewish writings were inaccurate, Jesus would certainly have pointed them out. In fact he often used the ancient examples of Abraham and Jonah to illustrate his teachings. Psalm 37 in verses 1, 9, 10, 12 and 28 refer to the cutting off and destruction of the " wicked ones". Verses 11 and 29 promise that the meek and humble ones will be survivors on the earth. The misguided teachings of the main religions where EVERYBODY goes to heaven, or any other place, is denied by the Bible at Revelation 14;1. Of all the billions of people who have lived, only 144,000 will have the privilege of a heavenly life. This fact has been in the Bible a long time. I think the priests missed it. Jesus said prayer is very important but prayers must be directed to God, through Jesus, and Jesus` respected mother is simply respected and is not a channel to God. If she were, it would say so in the bible. |

Hi again, Rockmyworld. Sorry I could not help you with the book. Not being a google answers researcher, my comments were comments only but important. Would finding this book and its contents improve your present life and as it apparently deals with what Jesus was all about, especially his love for us, would it not be better to go direct to his father`s [ God`s ]handbook for this needed knowledge. The Bible. Matthew 15;6 and Mark 7;13 spoken by Jesus himself refer to men having made the word of God invalid by their traditions. |
