I have rented an apartment in Paris for several weeks this summer and
would like to access the Internet from the apartment.  The apartment
has telephone Internet hookup.  Although my computer has a modem, I
currently accessed the Internet via cable, not telephone.  My basic
question is how do I access the Internet while in France?  What do I
need in the way of telephone cables and adapters? I also need the
names of some Internet merchants where I can purchase the necessary
items.  Additionally, what do I need to do in regard to an Internet
service provider?  I would like the names of some providers that I can
engage on a short-term basis.
