I?m looking to start a business in Sarasota, Florida and was curious
if there were any sites or resources detailing specific things about
such an endeavor. Examples include how much it would cost to
incorporate, any licenses from the city, or permits I would need. Also
information on local tax issues (building taxes, payroll taxes, etc.)
would be appreciated. Also any available research as to much
commercial real estate on average would cost (per square foot) would
be much appreciated.

It would be easier to answer this question if you could be more
specific about the TYPE of business you wanted to start; whether or
not you would be within the City limits of Sarasota or in Sarasota
County, etc.

The same goes for incorporating. The costs differ depending on where
(which state) you choose to incorporate in, and whether or not you
just want to do business in Florida as opposed to actually
incorporating there.

If you can give more information, you might have a better chance in
getting the information you really require.

Thanks,

The business is a video documentary business, where I would be
providing a service which creates sort of a video biography (mostly
for the elderly). Lets assume I incorporate in Florida and am located
in the city limits of Sarasota. Let me know if you would like any more
information. Thanks
