Hi,

In your owners manual or the ID plate on the driver side door will
tell you the max tow weight and rear axel weight. The tow weight is
obvious, however you must weigh the weight of the hitch downward force
,though most are balanced. Also does the boat trailer have it's own
breaking system? Because a 2 ton mass will be pushing your 2 ton van
down hills and while breaking. Also if it is automatic transmission?
Does it have a seperate cooler? If it manual, does it have a heavy
duty clutch? Also if all is ok, make sure you get a hitch that
supports that weight (Type IIIa). Though I've seen those setups on the
road, but they were limited to 35-40 MPH.

Well there is my free advice.
Enough details for a researcher to fill in.
Good Luck.
