I have created an online store using actinic catalog v6. Everything is
working ok. However when I search on google for my company name north
star rystals (3 seperate words) I am not listed. I AM listed when I
search for northstacrystals (1 word, no spaces). I assume this is a
problem with actinic ? I have not done anything "unusual" eg changed
templates or html code in actinic, and have checked everything I can
think of. I was listed previously, correctly on google before I put
the actinic store on. I have submitted the site to google a couple of
times. I also am using google adwords ok, so there is no problem with
links to the site. Question is how do I get google to list my site so
that I can find it when I search for "north star crystals" is there
something I needto change somewhere, and if so, what ?
my site address is www.northstarcrystas.com

I have had a look around your home page and would suggest the
following alterations to the homepage code.

As you probably know to get a good listing on any search engine there
are a number of "tricks" to employ one of the major ones being meta
tags. The meta tags are used by most search engines to help it
determine what the web site is about and you are already using some.
This being said they are not a magic solution to every problem.

Possible alterations to your code:

1) In the Meta Keywords section you have this:
<META NAME="Keywords" CONTENT="crystals, gemstones, healing, minerals,
amethys, quartz, wands, spheres,j ewellery">

Note the space in the word jewellery, this shouldn't be there. You
may also want to add the american spelling of jewelry to this list.
North Star Crystals should also be included in this list.

<META NAME="Keywords" CONTENT="north star crystals, crystals,
gemstones, healing, minerals, amethys, quartz, wands, spheres,
jewellery, jewelry" />

2) In the Meta Description you may want to add the company name in
there such as "North Star Crystals is a crystal shop selling natural
crystals minerals and gemstones for healing meditation and
development."

<meta name="description" content="North Star Crystals is a crystal
shop selling natural crystals minerals and gemstones for healing
meditation and development." />

3) You could also add a meta author:

<meta name="author" content="North Star Crystals" />

4) Include the name "North Star Crystals" in the <title> tag of each
page eg <title>Amythyst (Buy from North Star Crystals)</title>. This
is something I have found that works well.

These alterations should be made on every catalogue page if possible
and not just on the homepage.

After these have been altered resubmit your site to the Google Search Engine here:
