I have a pair of red and white combination waterskis which say
"Commander" on them that were purchased in the mid 1960s from Stichens
in Minnesota. The bindings on these are not very durable and made of
rubber. There is a manual screw which releases the binding for your
heal so you can adjust it for different foot sizes. The part of the
binding that the front end of your foot goes into does not move.
Since these are a combination pair; one of the skis can work as a
slalom which in turn has a rubber binding. (I believe the way I am
describing was the most common way for combination skis during this
time) The bindings have torn. Where can I get replacement bindings?
