Can you help me understand what "Queen Victoria Gold Ey'd Sharps" are
- a brand name or type of sewing needle? Is there just one
manufacturer? Are these still being made?

The Queen Victoria Gold Ey'd Sharps were available as packets of
sewing needles that were used to promote various business (e.g.,
insurance, cleaners, grocery stores). One packet said the needle eyes
are "beveled and gauged." They may have been manufactured in Germany
(at least one packet that I have).

Thanks - Kyraeh-ga

Just saw on ebay a set of Princess Victoria needles made in Germany.
The description suggested that this refers to Queen Victoria's
daughter - who married a German. Thanks for any assistance.
