Do you know who wrote the Spanish poem that reads as follows:

Yo soy un barco velero
que navega sin cesar
entre escollos y tormentas
que me quieren naufragar.

De esta vida las pasiones
No me pueden arrastrar
Atraas quedan rencores
A proa y popa, la paz...

Ola cachita,

Is it possible that this is the poem you are seeking? I was unable to
find the verse you posted.

NAUFRAGAR

Tu me llevas al fondo
en el crucero del amor,
cuando remo en tus aguas,
en el mar de tu calor,
no hay un naufrago
tan dispuesto a hundirse como yo,
quiero ahogarme bebeiendome
la sal de tu pasión.

CORO:

Please let me know.If it is, I'll post all the details, and if not,
I'll keep looking. If this is not it, do you have any other details?
Country of origin, appoximate year it was written, etc.

Sincerely,
crabcakes

The rest of the poem continues as follows:

Navego en aguas tranquilas
Llenas de serenidad
De retorno de mis lares
Que quedaron bien atras.

A estibor, rumor de brias
Que embalsaman mi soñar.
A babor, recuerdos gratos
De un ayer, lejano ya.

Que cerquita esta la playa
Que me invita a descansar
De este viaje que termina
Con bendiciones sin par.
Para aquella, mi progenie
Que triunfantes ahora van
Por la senda de sus vidas!
