Could someone translate something into good, business-like French? I
do not want something translated by one of those automated translation
tools - I want something that reads like something a French
business-savvy person would write. Anyway, here's the text:

"A few weeks ago I ordered and paid for the purchase and hosting* of
domain xxxxx.fr. Unfortunately, I did not realise that the rules for
ownership of .fr domains would preclude registration of my desired
domain. (Up to now, I have purchased only .com domains.) I must advise
you that I cannot proceed with my request for xxxxx.fr.

However, I now wish to purchase another domain (yyyyy.com), including
hosting , so I want to know whether you would be willing to put the
money I advanced for xxxxx.fr towards the purchase and hosting of
yyyyy.com."

* The French for "hosting" is "hébergement". "Domain" is of course just "domaine".

Hello franc_ophile,

I can understand your aversion to the automatic translation engines.
Though they're passable they do tend to provide a pretty garbled
version of the original. The translation of the text you provided is
as follows:

Good luck with your domain registration problems,

Hibiscus

Hi again, franc_ophile,

Anctill was good enough to catch two errors in my translation (a
missing comma, and a z that should have been an s). That corrected
translation is below in the comments section.

Please accept my sincere apologies for these mistakes.

Hello Franc_ophile,

Hibicus' translation is pretty good, but I permitted myself to correct
a few mistakes. (mostly grammar, a coma, a z instead of an s, and
other things...)

Good luck with your problems!
