Dear Pink, How can I obtain a current copy of the full titles and
names of the British Aristocracy in a book form (old reference was
DeBrett's Peerage) of England and the UK? It lists in descending
order from the Queen to the Lords.

Thank you very much for directing this question to me. It is always
gratifying (and flattering) to be asked for by name.

I would have been glad to research this, but it appears that I've
arrived too late, and the comments below may have provided your answer
for free.

Is there anything further that I can do for you, or has your question
been satisfactorily answered in the 'Comments' section?

Dear Pink, I read your profile previously on G*****, and I knew that
this was your sole means of support. That, and your very
comprehensive and witty answers were what drew me to you. I posted
the question around midnight last night, and I didn't anticipate that
maybe a researcher across the pond may have scooped you. (I live in
one of the Mid-Atlantic states). Probonopublico
gave a pretty complete answer, though I believe he may be British? Is
there any way I can pay both of you? Originally, I was trying to find
the reference where Queen Elizabeth II's full name was given, the name
that ends with the two words, "The Sovereign". Can I post another
question so that you can get paid for yor input, also?

Many thanks for your kind words! I would blush, but we all know that
red-haired persons do not blush -- instead, we 'rediate'. ;-D

Probonopublico is one of Google Answers' most erudite and prolific
commenters, but he is not, alas, an official Researcher, and thus he
cannot receive payment for his comments.

If you'd like to post another question earmarked for me, I'd be
delighted to serve you.

~Pink

Or this:

Debrett's Peerage & Baronetage 2003
Charles Kidd (Editor), Charles Williamson (Editor)

Synopsis
The definitive guide to the titled families of the United Kingdom Now
in its 144th edition, and currently published every three years,
Debrett's Peerage & Baronetage provides the definitive genealogical
guide to Britain's titled families. John Debrett first put his name to
The Correct Peerage of England, Scotland and Ireland in 1802, having
taken over the editorship from his employer, John Almon. It then
consisted of two small volumes. Now standing at over 3000 pages,
Debrett's is the ultimate reference book on Britain's aristocracy.
Since the last edition in 2000, the deaths of 52 peers have been
recorded (of which 4 titles have become dormant or extinct), and the
deaths of 42 life peers. One hereditary peerage has gone into
abeyance, and the biographies of 142 new life peers are included. Of
the Baronetage, 41 deaths have been recorded, and of these 4 titles
have become dormant or extinct.

Instead of buying BURKE'S PEERAGE, BARONETAGE & KNIGHTAGE 107th
EDITION you may like to subscribe to "Burke's Peerage & Gentry online"
("these records are being continually updated, expanded and
enhanced"):

"Debrett's Online" apparently does not include "Debrett's Peerage & Baronetage":

Hi, Ajbuck

Yes, I am British and I am mortified at the thought that my Comments
might have a deleterious effect on Pink's income.

You certainly don't owe me a penny (or a red cent) because I am just a
Commentor, not a Researcher.

So, you would please me enormously, if you could advise Pink that you
cannot accept Comments from anyone as presumptious as me ...

BUT please also ask her if she could sprinkle a few more of her gems
around for posterity.

A Very Embarrassed Brit.

Dear Probonopublico, As WHS said, "all's well that ends well". I had
planned several years ago to visit England for HM Queen Elizabeth's
Golden Jubilee.
I live in an area where one can get "Lost in the Last of the Land of
the Landed Gentry", and a very good friend of mine, and part of the
descendants of the British Aristocracy offered to take me on a guided
tour. But there was a double-whammy. He passed away suddenly, and I
developed a condition where I could not fly for extended periods. So,
I remember in his home he had a 1907 or 1905 DeBretts Peerage. I
missed the Golden Jubilee last year, but I would like to take a
Cruise, perhaps next year on your New Luxury Liner and visit with
possibly a Lady or Lord. I hope to be more civilised when I go.
Thanks Again for you input. AJBUCK

Hi, Again, AJBuck

I am sure that you will enjoy visiting 'The Old Country' and I wish
you all the best in your venture.

Should you ask any further questions and I offer a comment, please
don't let this detract in any way from a Researcher's Answer.

They put in a LOT of work and they all deserve the consideration that
you have shown.

All the Very Best

Bryan
