Hi jwmcevoy,

Thank you for accepting my findings as an answer to your question.

I will re-post my comment for your convenience.

The following are postings from various forums:

"I'm looking for the music in the Volvo All-Wheel drive ad, with the
family of cars in it. It's sort of guitarish.
It plays here... Wait for the flash to load and it'll play a snippit.
I need author and title pls! Thanks."

E-mail from Volvo;

"The ad uses 'Stock music'. Jazz #43 to be exact. There is no artist,
these clips are simply available to production houses in stock music
libraries."

jwmcevoy-ga,

If what Volvo has said about the track is true (and it likely is),
finding the artist/musician will be the equivelant of finding a needle
in a haystack. Stock music cd's often come in sets ranging from
10-100 cd's. In most cases, musicians who create the tracks such as
these give up their rights to ownership of the music in lieu of a
payment per tune or project. They are rarely, if ever, cited on the
final product.

It's a great way for a struggling musician to keep the rent paid.

However, GoogleAnswers is an amazing resource. I wouldn't be too
surpised if somebody finds the answer.
