I would like to know how to access video files held in cache memory which have been downloaded from the internet which do not allow you to save them in their window. How can I get past this and save them. Specifically, Quicktime movies from the Star Wars website |

You can purchase QuickTime Pro (US$29.99) which lets you save movies from your browser. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/theater/savemovie.html |

In windows 98, go to start->Find Files or in Windows XP go to Start->Search. Look in the Folder where temporary internet files are stored (if you go to internet explorer, you can find this out, eg. tools, internet options, temporary internet files settings, and it shows the current folder (eg. might be c:\temporary internet files). Search for *.mov in this directory (last accessed today), then copy that file to the desktop. |
