I want to find an open source / freeware / shareware / cheap utility
that I can run on a standard Windows 2000 Pro machine (without heavy
prerequisites) to view the schema for any available LDAP data source.
I do not want the one at http://ldap.akbkhome.com/

A great free tool is: http://ldaptool.sourceforge.net/

It also works with Active Directory to view. This project is on
sourceforge... sourceforge is a great location for open source
software.

There is a decent free utility available at http://www.softerra.com
then go to "Products" and download "LDAP Browser". It works with
Active Directory, AD/AM, Netscape (SunONE) etc.
