I am looking for "standard" equations, the sort that are generally accepted and are published in books and university skripts. The equations should apply to polymer + filler composits and polymer + filler + cut fiber composits. The distribution of filler and fiber segments is assumed to be evenly distributed in all directions (isotrope). So how are the composit properties: elastic modulus and tensile strength usually approximated? Please give me one or two equations for each and their source. |
