I would like to know how to get an empty Original Box of Sony
Cybershot camera DSC-T1. I bought this camera from a store but would
like to return it. I do not have the original packaging box as we
threw it away. The store is willing to take the camera back if it
comes back in original packing(Box). I tried calling Sony but no help
there. New York Area please.

The store has clarified that they don't care for serial number and bar
codes. As long as they get the box of that model(DSC-T1), the return
would not be a problem.

The key word perhaps is 'Original'.

If the original box has been scrapped then it might be irreplaceable
because, sometimes, Serial Numbers and/or Bar Codes are placed on the
boxes.

Bad news, I think ...

I've just checked the box for my Sony DSC-F707 Cybershot and there are 3 Bar Codes.

One is the Product Code (which will be standard); but another contains
part of the Serial Number that appears on the body of the camera
itself.
