Hello chipmunkcyn~

According to Internet Mental Health, Wellbutrin can produce a "mild
amphetamine-like activity" among people ?experienced with drugs of
abuse.?

However, ?evidence from single-dose studies does suggest that the
recommended daily dosage of bupropion [Wellbutin] when administered in
divided doses is not likely to be especially reinforcing to
amphetamine or stimulant abusers. However, higher doses, which could
not be tested because of the risk of seizure, might be modestly
attractive to those who abuse stimulant drugs.? (Bupropion, Internet
Mental Health: http://www.mentalhealth.com/drug/p30-b04.html )

Other sites listing the pharmacology of Wellbutrin give the same information.

Anecdotal evidence from patients shows that it isn?t unusual for
Wellbutin to mimic the effects of amphetamines. However, Wellbutrin
does not have amphetamines in its ingredients.

Regards,
Kriswrite

Actually, wellbutrin is an amphetamine-- the basic structure is
phenethylamine, so it is a type of amphetamine.
