I thought this movie starred William Katt but i couldn't find it
listed in his Allmovie Bio.The movie is about a insurance salesman who
is delivering an insurance policy to a rough inner city Project
area.He gets into an altercation with a black kid who happens to be a
gang member and disses(disrespects)him. The kid gets his gang members
after the insurance salesman and a black security guard gets
shot. Before dying the guard gives the salesman his gun.from there on
the salesman is hunted mercylessly from room to room in the
complex. Finally when he has nowhere left to go a Quadrepeligic viet
nam vet who has built him self a fortress in his room helps him by
letting him into his fortified apartment.later the vet gets killed and
the salesman escapes just barely. Can any body help?It could have been
a TV movie but i think i saw it on cinemax.Dave Krugman

Well, Katt did star in a moive, with Veronica Hamel, involving an
insurance policy. Could it be "Determination of Death" (2001)? This
apparently aired on the Lifetime channel recently.

Description from Internet Movie Database
<http://us.imdb.com/Title?0268253>

If you access the Internet Movie Database <http://www.imdb.com/> it is
possible to search plots. A search form is located on the upper left
of their home page. Change "all" to "plots" and enter "insurance
salesman." There are 16 films listed. Another one that may be a
possibility is "Auggie Rose."

Good luck. If this info has not helped please let me know by asking
for a clarification. I will try some new searching.

Thanks,

This movie was from the late 80's to mid 90's.It might have not
starred William Katt.Believe me i've searched far and wide (I'm quite
good at finding anything i need to know about on the web)but this one
movie evades all my research.I'm sure i saw it on Cinemax. The Viet Nam
Vet Was played by a well known actor but for the life of me i couldnt
tell you who it was. Thanks for trying and keep searching.P.S.I had
already tried the IMDB Thanks DAve Krugman

The Vietnam Vet was played by Jan Michael Vincent, which is the quick
link to answers to your questions. I went to IMDB.com with the memory
of Jan Michael in a wheelchair, and searched for likely hits.
http://us.imdb.com/Name?Vincent,+Jan-Michael

of special interest is:
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0092969 Enemy Territory.

Gary Frank is probably who you are confusing for William Katt.

I found this using the keywords: Jan Michael Vincent on IMDB.com

Personally...I liked 'Hooper' alot better. Burt Reynolds, jet cars,
stuntmen....you name it.

Have fun,
