doesn't look like you're having much luck.

check www.iol.co.za, on the LEFT column click on "Search Jobs". It
will then ask you for the region in South Africa where you want to
search for, (you are more likely to find DeskTopPublisher (DTP) jobs
in GAUTENG (so choose Gauteng region).
Then in the category list choose 'Computers/IT', or even better search
for 'DTP' or 'desktop publisher'.

IOL(www.iol.co.za) stands.for.Independant.OnLine.and.refers.to.the.media
conglomerate that operates TheStar and a few other papers. When you
search for Jobs you will be searching the Classifieds section of these
papers which is a brilliant place to start looking for jobs.
WEDNESDAY is JobDay in The Star so most jobs are advertised then.

As for accomodation, The Classifieds section is also perfect to look
-- but I don't know how to browse it online. Good Luch.
