conductor15 --

This question has been unanswered for a while, so I am going to make a
suggestion for you that may work but that I am not position to confirm
firsthand. If it does work, I trust that you will tell me that you
will accept the information as an answer. If it doesn't, it may help
other researchers to find the answer for you.

I seemed to remember that my 20-something daughter once had the same
Clie model, and I just asked her by e-mail if she knows the answer to
your question, and here's the body of her response:

"go to "preferences" in the main menu, go to "general," make sure system
sound is on high, and set alarm sound to high. (both system sound and alarm
sound are in the prefs menu)"

Let me know if this works.

This may not work for the SJ-22 Model as I have the SL-10 Model:
Run the Alarm Program and Check off the Box for Crescendo.

That is, if you're referring to the Alarm Program and not Alarm sounds
in any PalmOS Program.

Sorry both are already set at high.

Thanks anyhow.
