Leasing Technology, Inc., of West Palm Beach, Florida (also known as
LTI) is now a subsidiary of BankAtlantic.

"March 2, 1998
BankAtlantic Bancorp agrees to acquire Leasing Technology Inc.
Fort Lauderdale-based Bank Atlantic Bancorp (NYSE: BBX; Nasdaq: BANC)
announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Leasing
Technology Inc., an equipment leasing and finance company based in
West Palm Beach."

The Business Journal: BankAtlantic Bancorp agrees to acquire Leasing
Technology Inc.
http://www.bizjournals.com/southflorida/stories/1998/03/02/daily3.html?jst=s_rs_hl

"Leasing Technology, Inc. celebrates its 20th year of service to you!
Based in West Palm Beach, we are a wholly owned subsidiary of
BankAtlantic, the largest financial institution based in Florida...

Leasing Technology, Inc.
5713 Corporate Way Suite 200 | West Palm Beach, FLorida 33407
561-478-1001 | 1-800-432-3577 | FAX: 561-478-1055"

My friend and colleague scriptor-ga has provided this very important
new information:

Dear shirley1951,

I have successfully identified the company you are looking for, thanks
to the Florida Secretary of State's database of registered companies:
http://www.sunbiz.org/corpweb/inquiry/corinam.html

Leasing Technology Inc
5713 Corporate Way
West Palm Beach, FL 33407-2045
Phone: (561)478-1001
Fax: 561-478-1055
Website: http://www.finance4golf.com/leasing.htm

Please note that the (now outdated) website identifies LTI as "a
wholly owned subsidiary of BankAtlantic".

Branch office:

Leasing Technology Inc
1750 East Sunrise Blvd.
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304

However, it seems that the company is not active anymore. LTI was
acquired by BankAtlantic Bancorp in 1998, and the new owners closed
the company two years later:
"The impairment of goodwill in 2001 related to Bancorp's 1998
acquisition of Leasing Technology, Inc. ("LTI"). During the third
quarter of 2001, Bancorp's management concluded that LTI would not
meet Bancorp performance expectations. As a consequence, LTI offices
were closed down and ceased the origination of leases."

Obviously, the status as an active company is only preserved formally.
The 2003 Annual Report filed with the Florida Secretary of State,
which can partially be seen here, lists only three remaining officers:
http://www.sunbiz.org/COR/2003/0426/27610953.tif

So my conclusion is that LTI is not an active company anymore.

Thank you so much for your help, this is very good information!!!
This hels me out enormously!! Thanks again
