From my initial search I found two possible answers. There is a
company that offers this kind of service and there is company that has
the software converter (Mac only). Will these do?

Hello - the files I have are QuarkXpress 5 for PC, so the MAC option
is out. Can you tell me what the converter packgage is called anyway,
+ can you tell me more about the company who offers the conversion
service especially pricing!).
Many Thanks,

Hi Sparkler,

Thanks for your reply. I was only able to find one company that offers
a software solution (for Mac). There's no clear mention of the name.
Just the simple "Quark to PowerPoint converter". Since that is now out
of the question, your only option are companies that offer conversion
service for your file formats. There may be several companies that do
this but I was only able to find two that clearly say they convert
Quark documents to PowerPoint. One has an office in the U.S. and the
other is located in London. I searched for their pricing for such
service but found none. I believe their pricing may depend on the
volume, number of pages, type and complexity of the content, and other
details and you may have to contact them to inquire about your

So at this point, I can only give you the two companies I found, page
where I found clear mention that they offer such file conversion
service, and their contact numbers. It's up to you if you want to
accept these as an answer or not.

Waterside Press - Contact Information

Waterside Press - Home page

Translatus Professional Services Inc.
Document Services - Changing File Formats

Translatus Professional Services Inc. - Contact Information

Translatus Professional Services Inc. - Home page

Now, I decided to include the Mac software I mentioned because it's
possible that there is already a PC version of the program and the
webpage is not yet updated. You may inquire through the contact link

Quark to PowerPoint converter

Custom Flow Solutions - Contact Information

Custom Flow Solutions - Home page

Like I said earlier in my clarification, there may be other companies
that offer Quark to PowerPoint conversion but is not mentioned on
their website. You could find those companies from the last two links

Search strategy:

"quarkxpress to powerpoint"

"document conversion" quark powerpoint

document conversion quark powerpoint

I'm using Quark 6 so this may not apply.

How about exporting the Quark file as a PDF and tehn using Adobe
Acrobat to convert to HTML. I haven't tried this, sorry.
