how soon can one see benefits of taking 60 mg of prenisone to reduce
inflamatory process--What are side effects one can expect?

dosage is 60mg daily taken once a day before 9 am
I have nerve damage in leg --this is given to try to reduce any
inflamation may be impinging on nerve to get nerve-muscle recovery
I am 43 year old female who is 5'5'' and weigh 130 lbs.   I am very
active and have been going to physical therapy for about 1 year--nerve
damage may have occurred following follow-up surgery done last
sept--damage first noted in Jan 2004 after emg nerve conduction
testing-damage in sciatica,femoral and perinerual nerves
pt is given due to poor ankle rom and severe atrophy of leg muscles
including quad--in afo and need to use cain secondary to falling (leg
gives out)
