I would like to see studies and case studies on new products that have
been licensed to large manufacturers and/or distributors.

I need specifics on any up-front payments and on-going royalties, how
these were measured (e.g. fixed amount per unit, or percentage of
sales - then what specific sales price: manufacturers, wholesale,
retail?), actual amount of payments over time etc.

The type of products can be narrowed down to manufactured consumer
goods, then even more specifically to automotive, personal
transportation, motorcycles.

Examples can include self-funded product developments and contracted
developments for which the manufacturer or distributor pays a
development company costs plus a royalty.

Data on specific automotive and motorcycle companies that have a
history of licensing in external designs would complement this
information.
