I want to build a bookshelf that covers the entire wall, from floor to ceiling and will span the entire room, 3 out of 4 walls. I need to find descriptions or drawings/construction drawing for this. The style I'm looking for is Art Deco-ish. |

This Old House site (http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/knowhow/tools/article/0,16417,524753,00.html#) has clearly written directions for basic floor to ceiling shelving. Also, visit your local library or bookstore to see art-deco design books and woodworking books like these from Taunton Press: http://www.taunton.com/store/pages/070592_tcpg.asp http://www.taunton.com/store/pages/070252.asp Google search : "floor to ceiling" bookcase do it yourself |
