I don't think it is but is it possible to determine the last time someone logged into there MSN instant messenger account without asking them, also what has happened to MSN Profiles that appear to have been discontinued on 30th March. Thanks, Gav | |

Could you tell me where you might have seen the part about March 30th? The profiles I am looking at now seem to be working just fine. There must be some means of diaplying the last time the user was on, but the only way I know is to use Messenger Plus' (http://www.msgplus.net/) contact manager. I believe that tells you the last time someone signed in while you were signed in. |

I second jbaltzell's comment on msgplus being able to show when someone was last logged on - but you have to have been logged on at the same time for it to know, otherwise there's no way. In response to your msn profile question, I'm in the UK too so can confirm this - basically it's Microsoft covering their backs for all the paedo stuff that's been going on. I read somewhere that there's no official statement for why it's been closed but rumours are that they're redesigning it so that you can't search for members by age or without knowing their email address - something like that. There's a hack available on mess.be that re-enables it again, but I think it just re-routes it through the american msn profile site which is probably what jbaltzell's looking at. |
