I am looking for the best software that will retrieve data from the web.
For example, I'd like a program that will search the web for
"employment agencies in Austin, TX" and return contact information
(ie. name, mailing address, tel, fax, email). The key is the returned
dataset must be easily imported into a database.
Or for example, I'd like to seach the web for "restaurantes in Austin,
TX" and return any restaurante menus (in pdf form) along with contact
information. The pdf's should be put into a folder and the contact
info into a database.
I know there is software out there. But i am need to know if the
software has these capabilities, if so which is the BEST (i.e most
robust, ease of use, reliable etc). Although I use Mac OS X, I am
interested in the Best software regardless of platform. |
