Try using MyIE2: http://www.myie2.com/html_en/download.htm Here is a guide page: http://www.hkhenry.com/myie2/sic/myie2guide/ This is a browser intended to show a tabbed interface, to use the features that you like do the following. 1- Open your pages inthe tabbed interface. 2- Do a right click on each tab and go to Auto Refresh option to set the tab autorefresh interval for each one. 3- Do the same but now select 'Use Auto Refresh' where you want to use that. 4- Press simultaneously the keys Control and T to switch to multipane interface. 5- To return to tabbed interface just maximize one window. NOTE: you can do the same with Opera, but it shows an ad banner. http://www.opera.com/features/ http://www.opera.com/download/ Hope this helps. If this browser fit your needs please let me know in order to post this in the answer box and claim the prize. Regards. livioflores-ga |

Yes I am aware of MyIE2 and Opera, I thought that was obvious from the question. The problem is that these programs only arrange regular MDI windows in a larger app workspace, meaning you have to adjust each pane size individually, they all have title bars, etc. Katiesoft was a MULTIPANED BROWSER that opened all the panes as though they were "split view" panes, so they all seemed like they were in the same window, and you could change ALL OF THE PANE SIZES at once. Plus, no online real estate was wasted by the title bars and window widgets, yet they all had title bars, etc. |

I donīt understand why you donīt continue using KatieSoft, may you cannot find a place to download it again. If that is the problem, here is the solution: http://ftp.pcworld.com/pub/new/internet/internet_tools/setupfull.exe This file installs one of the lastest versions KatieSoft 7.0 I tested it in my PC and it works fine (Windows XP Pro). |
