"The album 'Loving' was released as 'En anglais' in France and the UK.
It was released on CD in Japan in 1990, but no longer available and
very rare to find a second hand copy."

I have not been able to find this rare CD for sale, but I have located
several copies of the vinyl LP.

Another option: there is a service which provides CDs that are copied
from vinyl LPs. The service sends you both the original LP and the CD
copy. Françoise Hardy's "Loving" (also released as "En Anglais") is
available from this service. The charge is slightly more than $50.

Please let me know if you're interested in either the LP or the
service that sells you the LP with a CD copy.

As I mentioned earlier, the only commercial CD of "En Anglais/Loving"
was released in Japan; it is extremely rare and very expensive. Here
you'll find a discography that lists the various forms in which this
album has been released:

CDBBQ is a service which provides CDs that are copied from vinyl LPs.
This is perfectly legal, since the service sends you both the original
LP and the CD copy:

"Search our selection of LPs. These are compiled from a list of
reputable online record dealers. The lists are regularly updated to
help ensure their availability. When we receive your order, we'll
procure the record from the dealer.

We'll start the CD conversion process as soon as we receive the
record. The first step is to use a professional vacuum record cleaner.
Then we use audiophile audio & computer equipment to record the music
onto our computers. We perform noise reduction if that option is
ordered, then split the music into tracks. The CD is created, as well
as a track list. The CD & LP will be shipped together. Total time from
order to shipment is 2-4 weeks.

The listed prices include the cost of the record, transport of the
record to us, CD duplication and creation of track list. Shipping &
handling is extra ($7 priority mail in the US, $15 airmail elsewhere,
other options are available)."

In case you have questions about the site, this FAQ will help:

CDBBQ

"Loving" (also released as "En Anglais"), Reprise RS 6318, is
available from CDBBQ. Do a search on the site using the keywords
"francoise," "hardy" and "loving." You will be able to choose from two
LPs. One is in "very good plus" condition, and the other is in "mint"
condition.

I hope this helps you to obtain your CD. If anything is unclear or
incomplete, please request clarification; I'll gladly offer further
assistance before you rate my answer.

Best regards,
pinkfreud
