noblehead,

You're right, it is a "what the heck is it"? being that on Google, you
get no results for the file, it's probable that it's someone's
personaly designed EXE file. That usually means something BAD, if you
don't recognize it. A lot of viruses come in as EXE files. An EXE file
is.....

"A file in a format that the computer can directly execute. Unlike
source files, executable files cannot be read by humans. To transform
a source file into an executable file, you need to pass it through a
compiler or assembler.

In DOS systems, executable files have either a.COM or.EXE extension
and are called COM files and EXE files, respectively. "

I recomend running a free spyware scan such as AdAware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

And, also a virus scan. You can purchase, or here is some fre ones online
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%20online%20virus%20scan&btnG=Google+Search

You can also run a virus scan directly on the file sometimes by right
clicking on the file and choosing that option, if you have a program
already installed on your computer that will let you do that.

Now that you what what kind of file it is, and what it does, you can
decide what you want to do with it.....
