I have purchased a new computer. The old computer is Windows ME and the new one is Windows XP. I can get the old computer to boot up but it is very cranky. The old computer has serial, parallel and usb 1.0. The new computer has usb 2.0 and all of the other ports. Is there a simple way to connect the two computers so that I can selectively copy files to the new computer without having to buy a utility? I only want to retrieve word files, some spreadsheets, zip files and songs. | |

Well, buying a software package might be the best way: http://www.sewelldirect.com/FastLynxHomepage.asp?s=google&g=cp2ag1&a=pc_to_pc_transfer_files |
