Why do people think that my questions are weird? Have people become very boring? I think that I am pretty average, but am learning that this is not the case. Thanks, Yesmam |

As someone who does not know you at all, except by what I read in your postings on GA, I can say that I do find you weird because you find trivial things of everyday life and blow them out of proportion. No offense, but since you asked... |

I don't find you weird at all. In fact, YOU and people like you are why this forum is so successful. People simply "wonder" about things and we are here to help them find answers. Sometimes it's related to the mundane oddities of life and sometimes its related to the laws of physics. Each is interesting in it's own way. Don't be so hard on yourself. I, for one, think you are a very interesting person and the fact that you readily accept criticism means you are a cut above the rest. Hang in there. Dad PS: ...and yes, you are right. Most of us DO peek. :) |

I don't think your questions are weird, but they are delightfully offbeat. A curious mind is a wonderful thing. Those who have lost their curiosity and their sense of humor tend to find a curious mind to be irksome. I run into this a lot. |

Let's see: http://answers.google.com/answers/search?q=yesmam-ga&qtype=all 57 question's, nothing too out of the ordinary. Very similiar to the type of questions asked by one of our favorite commentors, probonopublico-ga. You simply use this forum to ask the everyday questions one would normally ask oneself but never get an answer to. Librarian's get question's a lot stranger than these. Take it from one who knows. Keep 'em' coming! Bowler-ga |

I consider curious-minded folks like you lots of fun! I get a kick out of your questions (and the wide range of reactions to your questions), so I also say: keep'em coming, ma'am. |

I am trying to imagine Karen Black without crossed eyes. I've been told that I resemble Bernadette Peters without the underbite. It's great to see you again, Yesmam. Missed ya. But my aim is gettin' better. :-D ~Pink |

Wow, Yesmam, we all would love to see more of you, especially now we know that you look like Karen Black without crossed eyes. Me? Folks are always telling me that I look like Pierce Brosnan, only much better looking, amd VERY MUCH younger (of course). OK, so I'm not perfect but I'm working on it. Keep the Questions a-coming P-L-E-A-S-E! |

Oh my! I'm just now seeing this question (I've been a bit busy with some non-Google Answers things!). Good heavens--boring?!?! Are you kidding?! I absolutely LOVE yesmam-ga questions! You are one of my favorite customers and I mean that! When I see the characteristic ALL CAPS questions and read how well you put into words the thoughts that many of us have, well, I get excited at the chance to snatch it and research it and answer it! Your questions appeal to the curious nerd in me (who, quite honestly, gets the impression that our minds are often a bit alike!). Keep 'em coming, yesmam! Things here wouldn't be the same without you posting them!! Sincerely, Boquinha-ga |
